Digital printers provide near press quality at a fraction of the cost. Because images are transferred directly from computer to paper, digital printing is cost effective for short color runs, providing faster delivery times.

Digital printing is also used in the production of catalogs. Catalogs can come off the machines collated, folded, stapled, with tabs inserted, and ready to go out the door.
